Leaflet provides an interactive google map that provides the name of the fire, acres burned, cause, years, and days burned. Feel free to explore each map by scrolling and hovering for more details and interesting information. I encourage you to look for your county or state and see if you can remember any of the fires that happened there.

There is noticable difference between the last and first year in the U.S. in the number of large wildfires.

Conclusion:

Leaflet is a great tool to see visualialily on google maps where major fires occurred. There is a lot of information packed into these maps. Even between the first and last year there is a major increase of large wildfires in the U.S. that can be seen. Thank you for reading through this project. I hope you found it interesting.
